Final purchases of 2012!!

Ok so I went a little crazy with the online sale shopping this month, with the Sales in full swing I simply couldn’t resist treating myself.
To be honest I don’t really enjoy shopping in the heat of the sales as they can be manic and quite stressful. This year  I decided to shop online, now I know online shopping can be a bit hit and miss as things items can sell out in hours, luckily I managed to snap up a few longed for items.

COZY....

Although I don’t celebrate Christmas there's  something special about this festive season that I really do enjoy, the fashion is insane. Leathers & Furs Chunky with knits, Woolly mittens & Hats, Uggs and Wellingtons.
I love it.
During this time when I’m not working I find myself snuggled up in bed or on the sofa in warm PJ’s catching up with movies and programmes that I’ve missed throughout the year. Unfortunately for me I won’t be off until 31st of December and I very much doubt that I’ll be going out for the New Year,  I think it will be a night in of pampering and eating mince pies with Madagascan cream Hummmm, Perfect.

Date night in London

Last week I spent much needed time with family and friends in London, This is something that doesn’t happen often so when I do go to London I try to make the most of it.
I have a very large family but sadly we don’t see enough of each other. Last Friday I went for dinner with 3 of my cousins Sherene, Donna and Keisha.
We went to a lovely restaurant on Marlborough St in London called Ping Pong.
This modern and quirky Dim Sum restaurant was just perfect for the occasion.
The food was lovely and fresh with so much to choose from, the dissert was to die for
(I had no choice but to break the diet for the Mango cake)
I even had my very own non alcoholic Cocktail made which was lovely and refreshing.

I don’t know about you but I love this time of year, being able to wear comfy chunky knits cute winter hats and trendy weather boots. Most of us think that because we’ve entered into the colder seasons we have to stick to the darker colours, which is not the case. I believe that you should incorporate as much colour as you can when it comes to your winter wardrobe.

Winter doesn’t have to be boring, have fun with it x

Pouf I've Fallen for you....

I recently came across theses beautiful Moroccan Pouf's online and totally fell for them I had to have one, and with my mum and sister living in Morocco for six months of the year what better way for me to get my very own. I've asked my mum to buy me one, The prices start from at least £130 in the UK and as little as £35 In Morocco.

These handmade leather pouf's can add so much class and character to a room. They are available in an array of colours sizes and materials, I would definitely choose leather and my 1st choice of colour would be white and 2nd  silver.

below are a few pictures that I found of online  of how you can decorate your room using a pouf or two, I think they simply make a room look fabulous.

Zara Favourite's.

I don’t know about you, but every time I feel the need to add a few new pieces to by wardrobe the first high street shop I go to is Zara.
I have to say that Zara has been my favourite high street shop for a few years now; Zara clothing is always on trend and reasonably priced.
Below is my wish list for November which I’m going to purchase at some point. I’m going to London at the end of November to spend time with family.
Shopping in London is so much better than Norwich there’s so much more choice and some really great markets that I want to check out, after all every girl has to keep warm and look great this winter. xx

Fallen for full-length

Aqua by Aqua origami bow front skirt

origami bow front skirt

Ive totally fallen for full-length and maxi skirts especially ones with a little creative twist. I recently enrolled on a dress making course which starts next week. I have decided to create my own version of the Aqua origami bow front skirt.

Now I know this maybe a little difficult for a beginner but I do enjoy a challenge. If you follow me on instagram you will know that I recently when to Green St in London to choose materials. I have started on a very simple maxi skirt which I’m hoping will be completed over the next few days.

Above are a few pictures of the types of skirts I really like, what do you think? As this will be my first time making a garment any tips/pointers you may have to offer me would be greatly appreciated.

I hope you all have a good week. x
