Jamaica!!!!

My mum and I have been thinking about going away for quite a while we decided at the beginning of the year that we would take two weeks out and go to Jamaica. Jamaica is an island country situated in the Caribbean Sea.  Known for its famous Dunn's River Falls waterfall, the late legendary Bob Marley and the worlds fastest sprinter Usain Bolt .

We've decided to go in May and will be booking the tickets this week (Whoop Whoop) we will stay at the 

 Riu Ocho Rios hotel. 

This well deserved holiday is going to be amazing!! my grandparents are both from Jamaica so I'm really looking forward to seeing family members who I haven’t seen in many years and some who I've never met, as the last time we visited Jamaica I was only 8 years old. 

Over the next few months I’ll be getting prepared and starting to buy things for this trip. I would love to know if any of you are planning to go away or if you've just had a holiday.   I’m always looking for other interesting bloggers to follow or posts to read.

Now we all have style crushes and mine is the beautiful Karla Deras. I've been following Karla since April of last year her style is incredible, she’s talented and unique. Karla has her own jewellery collection selling beautiful cuff bracelet's Nugget drop earrings and triangle rings.

Mainly wearing intricate vintage pieces Karla’s outfits are timeless and effortlessly put together.   

I think that this is a brilliant blog to follow If you’re someone who isn’t really into whats “on trend” and like the idea of wearing vintage or one off pieces but don’t how you would put them together.

Wedding Bells

With Christmas and new years well and truly over we’re all getting back into the swing of things (the good old boring stuff)

So it was a wonderful surprise when my cousin announced that she’ll be getting married this June. 

JUNE 2013!!! she’s going to plan a wedding for around 200 people in less than 6 months? 

Now I know you can have package weddings when everything is done for you, you choose from a set menu  set colour theme and table decors etc. After browsing wedding books and many magazines I found myself taking notes from the couples who had 1920's styled weddings which look simply magical I much preferred the weddings of couples who had done most of the work themselves from the favours to DIY vintage brooch bouquets and edible lace on the wedding cake.
I love like the idea of adding your own personal touches. (The more DIY the better) 

I truly believe that in most cases Less so much More when it comes to that special day.
