Spring.

 

I decided not to take on extra hours at work this week as there was so much that I needed to do at home. We’ve had such beautiful weather in Norwich and I tend to find myself stuck in the office on bright sunny days.
There is  so  much that I need to do at home, with the 1^st task being my wardrobe.
I’m such a hoarder when it comes to clothes 've seriously got to get rid of anything that hasn’t been worn in  a year and anything that is too small.  I've listed a few things on eBay but most went to charity.

I've also been focusing on Ultimate Collections which is always exciting!

I'm currently looking for  fashion bloggers who would be interested in reviewing some of the pieces from mu new collection (Any ideas/suggestions please contact me)

Spring heels.

Why is it that we always find something to buy when we have no intension to shop? 

With it being mother’s day today  I popped into the city to get a few presents.

I had no intension of buying anything for myself as I thought there was nothing that I really needed.

I don’t often go into Matalan but somehow found myself wondering around the store, I came across these super cutie chunky nude and white heels which go perfectly with many outfits that I have planned to wear for the spring/summer. They are so comfortable and chunky heels are really in at the moment. There were so many other items that caught my eye in Matalan so I’ll definitely by popping back to the store to see what I can snap up from their summer collections.

I recently received new stock for Ultimate collections and the pieces are gorgeous ladies!!

I haven’t had time to list everything on the site as I’ve been extremely busy  with my current fulltime job, it can be a little difficult at times juggling a job blog and online store ( I would love to know how you all manages yours?)

The new pieces are prefect for this season and are very different in style compared to the last collection.

I'm also have phone cases available which have been extremely popular, people love phone cases especially if inspired by a brand the Chanel perfume iphone case has a been  massive hit so much so that I currently have a waiting list for them.

 

 

 

OOTN. Black & White.

 

I recently celebrated my birthday on the 15^th of this month,  as always I had an amazing time thanks to my wonderful family and friends. on the Friday we went to a lovely little Turkish restaurant and I had a lovely meal, Meat balls between Aubergine topped with roasted tomato and peppers. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple and the wife cooks all of the courses herself, the atmosphere in the restaurant is really lovely and relaxed with its Turkish décor soft music and artefacts  I could tell that the owners had put a lot of work into this restaurant, it reminded me of Morocco. If you live in or around Norwich you should try it out. Yemek Yemek

After the Meal my Cousin and I decided to go out and dance the night way,  we had a really good time so much so that  we didn’t go to bed until 5am !!!   (you only live once)

On Saturday which was my actual birthday, I woke up to the most amazing breakfast and lots of presents. I chilled most of the day trying to recover from the previous night.

I'd arranged  to go out with a friend for dinner (well that’s what she told me we would do) which was all a trick, my mum and friends had planned a surprise party. My birthday was perfect.

I haven’t posted an OOTD/N post in over a year so I thought that I’d share with you my outfit for that evening.

Ultimate Collections.

 

 

I've spent the past few weeks really focusing on Ultimate collections ordering new stock, working on the packaging and designing the business cards. There are so many small businesses around a the moment all selling such beautiful jewellery clothes and accessories, however I can never understand how and why they are So expensive? I understand that the main purpose of  a business is ultimately to gain an  income, but me myself couldn't justify spending £40.00 to £60.00 on jewellery or accessories. When I first decided to start Ultimate collections I made a conscious  decision that the Jewellery is affordable for everyone, after all you  shouldn't have to spend lots of money to look good.

 

With it being my birthday this month I've been thinking about having a Giveaway or collaborating with another Blogger/shop owner, if your interested or know of someone who maybe interested I would love to hear from you.

MAC.

So I finally purchased my 2^nd MAC lipstick to add to my slowly growing collection,  I decided to go for a classic red lipstick as I think that a Classic Red lip adds a touch of chic to most looks I also think that if you have a powerful red lip there is no need to go heavy with the rest of your makeup.

My original plan was  to treat myself to Chanel’s Rouge Allure but once on I found that it didn’t suite me at all,  I tried a few lipsticks by Chanel but didn’t fall for any of them so I ended  up in MAC.

After at least 45 minutes of trying on different shades I finally decided to go for Viva glam 1 which I’m very pleased with, however I now feel that I should have purchased the lip liner at the time? This is something I will definitely go back for when I get the chance.

What do you think about lip liners ladies, are the absolutely necessary when wearing red lipstick??

I’m really loving colourful lips at the moment and I’m looking forward to buying more, are there any others you suggest that I try out? are any of you ladies using lipsticks by Nars, I really want to know what they are like…..

Morocco Morocco...

 

I recently took a well needed  trip to Morocco to visit my mum and sister. I flew from Gatwick airport which has completely changed I couldn’t believe it!! the airport now has some of my favourite shops :-)  I  didn’t buy any clothes as I only travelled with hand luggage this time. I did pop into MAC and grabbed myself Viva glam 1 which I've been wanting for the longest time, another lipstick to add to my growing collection and a bottle of Chanel Chance.

 

 It’s been two years since my last trip and the country was even more beautiful than I remembered. My mum and sister live in a small town called Larache they live 15 minute's away from the sea which is simply amazing, you also have a wonderful view of the sea from the roof of my mothers roof, this is where we spent most mornings having a giggle over a pot of mint tea.

I spent most of the time in Morocco relaxing and spending quality time with mum. I  had a go at embroidery for the first time which was pretty cool, I’m still working on the makeup bag so I’ll show you it as soon as I’m done. we also had the most amazing lunches which were prepared by the cook, fresh fruit fish and lovely salads, Bliss!!

I didn’t really shop during this trip but picked up a few new head scarfs for the spring  and a beautiful real leather satchel for just £12.00 this offer was too good to turn down!!

 

I didn't take many pictures on this trip as the camera on iPhone is not working :-( 

Now I'm  back I'm feeling positive clear headed and ready to start new projects, with that being said have you seen the new Jewellery that has arrived in my shop?? check out Ultimate Collections in the side bar.

MAC

I had the day off of work yesterday and decided to meet my cousin in the city to have a catch up over tea and cakes in M&S, after indulging in scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam  we soon found ourselves browsing the shops. We ended up at the MAC counter in Jarrolds, I’ve been thinking about purchasing an everyday lipstick for quite a while now but with so many to choose from this can sometimes becoming a little over whelming.

The manager in MAC was fabulous it’s almost as if she knew exactly what I needed without having to ask.

The first lipstick she applied was an instant keeper this is the Double shot which I purchased, I also tried the Half and half lipstick which I will probably buy next. I spent an hour in MAC the manager showed me what were the best eye shadows for my skin tone and also touched on contouring and highlighting.

By the time we left MAC I looked and felt like a New Woman!! (The power of makeup) I can now fully understand how and why women become obsessed with makeup and for some why they will not leave the house without it.

I’m interested to know what  MAC products your currently using especially eye shadows and lipsticks.
